Ow Yeong Wai Kit • Muzakkir Samat
Nature has served as a muse for poets over time and across cultures. Nature has inspired verses in tropical Singapore and beyond. With climate change, water scarcity, and the decline or extinction of wildlife species, poets are engaging with their environments in imaginative and critical ways. Eco-poets and editors Ow Yeong Wai Kit and Muzakkir Samat will facilitate a workshop on eco-poetry writing and will read samples from their anthology From Walden to Woodlands.
