A forum where inspiration and collaboration convert to Everyday Leadership action, AIESEC's YouthSpeak Forum is a platform that brings together both young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector and multi-generational space.

10.25 - 10.45 | Opening Keynote, Md Suhaile, Journalist of The Middle Ground
Suhaile's a journalist at The Middle Ground (TMG), an independent news site. TMG's a space for everyone in the middle, in between the madness at both extremes. He reports on general news, with a growing focus on labour and Muslim issues in Singapore. Suhaile's also a former National Committee member of AIESEC in Singapore.
10.50 - 11.10 | Keynote 2, Rebecca Lim, Head of Our Better World, Singapore International Foundation

The digital revolution has been transformational and disruptive. How can this be harnessed for social impact? How can the next generation be engaged to contribute meaningfully? Our Better World, a digital storytelling initiative of the Singapore International Foundation, was founded on the belief that stories have the power to inspire you to come alongside and contribute in meaningful ways. Leveraging the digital space, its aim is to build an engaged global community, contributing skills, resources, time and effort to improve the lives of those who are helped and those who are helping. 

11.15 - 12.15 | Panel Discussion, Discovering Singaporeans YOUths For A Difference, Hear from the voices of YOUths.

Be engaged in conversations with our panelists and discover their insights about how youths play an important part in our society, and even the world around us. How can youths take a step out of their comfort zone and discover their passion? What lies within these panelists that enable them to make a difference in our generation today? What exactly is youth leadership and how can we be empowered to create change in our society? Let our panelists tell you more!

14.00 - 15.00 | Workshop A - TreeTop, Singapore Committee for UN Women: Designing Your Own Social Movement (That Isn't Sexist!)

Take part in an educational competition aim at educating and inspiring youth across Singapore to address gender biased social issues through innovation and entrepreneurship. As with last year, participants will go through preparatory sessions to brainstorm, develop, and submit ideas that empower women and/or girls in Singapore. Qualified teams are given a 5-minute platform to pitch their inspired ideas on Showcase Day in commemoration of International World Youth Skills Day!

Workshop B - TreeTop, The Hidden Good: Finding The Hidden Good within us

Don’t you feel that on many occasions we are stretched out when trying to juggle work and life? Have we forgotten to slow down and appreciate our true value? Let the team from The Hidden Good help you rediscover what it it so lead a Purpose Driven Life and how you can own it. Learn the importance of self-empowerment and start to appreciate the life you already have. Finding clarity in the busy lifestyle you live in, refocusing on yourself and living mindfully start from you and that would be the start of your journey in making differences to your world and the world around you.

15.05 - 15.30 | Closing Keynote, Sharon Au, Founder of StyleXStyle | Mediacorp

Sharon Au is a hugely successful actress in Mediacorp and studied in University of Waseda in Tokyo, where she read International Relations and Law. After graduation, Sharon returned to a new role at Mediacorp. She spearheaded and successfully launched fashion community portal, styleXstyle where she kicked start another business in February 2013 - in the form of THE LITTLE BLACK BEAUTY BOX. Under her stewardship, styleXstyle.com spinned off Asia Style Collection, a FashonXMusic extravaganza in June 2013, successfully bringing Asian talents together on one giant runway.

Suen is the Project Lead for Project Aspire, a local social entrepreneurship challenge by Singapore Committee for UN Women, for youths ages 15 to 18. Her passion for social movements has led her from working in social enterprises to working with them. When she's not glued to the screen and googling for social causes happening around the world, she divides her time between teaching, writing, and travelling.
